Local Youth Showcased Just How Talented They Are

Twenty-five local youth performed to a full-house at OPUS Cafe and Bistro on May 3rd. The Youth Talent Showcase was the kickoff to Youth Week presented by genNext.

Youth presented never seen before original songs, guitar solos, duets, Shakespeare, and freestyle dance. With so much demand the evening continued for an extra half an hour.

This night could have not been possible if it wasn’t for the lovely emcee, Poonam Chahal, the talented youth, and OPUS Cafe and Bistro.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better turn out,” said Chelsea Horncastle, genNext Chair. “The youth are extremely talented and it was great to see the community’s support.”

Join us April 15th, 7pm at 160 Winnipeg Street in the Lakeshore Towers Amenity Room.
Bring your old clothes you don't wear anymore and shop around for some hidden treasures.
All clothes at the end of the night will be donated to the Women In Need Society.

GenNext Movie Night

Come out to our very first GenNext Penticton Fundraiser!
When: Friday January 28th at 5pm.
Where: Penticton PenMar Theatre
What: We will be showing two movies, both starting at 5pm on January 28th at the PenMar Theater. One film will be a popular indie movie and the other, a classic family show.
Come out to enjoy a great film and you will also be entered automatically into a draw for some great door prizes, donated by local businesses.
